While poking around a small antiques shop in Florence on a cold and sunny, winter day we looked up to find the most spectacular ceiling fan circling above, despite the bone-chilling cold. In an instant, we knew we had to have it. And a day later we knew all of our design colleagues would feel the exact same way.

After many return trips to Florence, several long lunches with our new Italian artisan friends, and the expert guidance of a wonderful man named Bruno — not to mention an Italian angel or two — we’re proud to announce the launch of the ARIA VENTILATORI hand-crafted line of ceiling fans.

At first glance, we know you’ll react the same way we did. The hand-carved blades with their chic, flared tips and the bold, cast iron bodies are ARIA VENTILATORI design signatures that will transform any room — classic, modern or transitional — into a real head turner.

While exquisitely crafted, the fans are built to work extra hard too. Longer fan blades insure better air movement and broader coverage. The patented motors and steam-bent blades are designed to stand up to the elements for years to come…whether hanging in a loggia by the sea, swirling overhead on a screened porch in the mountains, or simply acting as the drop-dead centerpiece of a lovely master bedroom.
